A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of cancellation in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity:

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within 30 days without giving any reasons.

The cancellation period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods. The easiest and fastest way to create a cancellation is on our returns portal: Click here to go to the Returns Portal.

Alternatively, you may exercise your right of cancellation by informing us (Jaimie Jacobs GmbH, Widenmayerstr. 23, 80538 Munich, Germany, Tel.: +49 7931 968 00 96, E-mail: info@jaimiejacobs.com) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive (e.g., products with engraving) or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

General Information

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer possess the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not send the goods back to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the aforementioned items 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
